Our Shrubs are made with seasonal fruit, herbs, spices, sugar and organic apple cider vinegar - they are slow fermented, unpasterised and pressed by hand.

The Shrubs are concentrates - used to add depth to cocktails, spritzers or soda.

Sweet, earthy and full of tang- shrubs are also an excellent source of vitamins, probiotics, support your digestion and are naturally low in sugar.

"Shrub" is the traditional name for fruit and herbs fermented in vinegar.

Shrub is taken from the Arabic word “sharab” or “drink”.

Shrubs date back the the Middle Ages when preserving the harvest was essential thru winter.

When they were brought to 15th century England, they were adapted to medicinal tonics in early apothecaries. They were also popular in colonial America where they became additions to cocktails and in the prohibition era they were used in sodas, making elegant and delicious non alcoholic drinks to enjoy in bars.

Pyewacket's shrubs are made the traditional way with seasonal produce sourced directly from Australian Farmers.

By preserving their nutritional and probiotic quality, keeping them raw and unpasteurised.
