About Mister Bitters:
Australia’s very first bitters company based in Melbourne. Created for the mutual love of bitters by a couple of bartenders and the company, Only Bitters, together they wanted to create a greater Australian presence in the bitters culture across the globe, offering unique new flavour combinations
A bottle of cocktail bitters is generally 35–45% alcohol. Since most bitters are used by dashes or in drops, the amount of alcohol is minuscular, making the ABV difficult to trace. That's why they're often marketed as non-alcoholic, although they are made from alcohol.
Bitters don’t need to be mixed in a complicated cocktail. Something as simple as a gin and tonic will benefit from a few dashes of orange bitters or grapefruit bitters. Many people even mix aromatic bitters and soda as a refreshing low ABV beverage.
Fig & Cinnamon - Using the sweetness from dried figs, spice from cinnamon & clove and the bitterness from gentian, our Fig & Cinnamon is a delicious dark and bittersweet additive which brings a touch of Christmas into any cocktail.
This bitters works amazingly with any whisky, cognac or rum. Try it in a classic Old Fashioned, or whip it up into a sours cocktail for a lovely spicy twist.
Honeyed Apricot & Smoked Hickory - a blend of leatherwood honey, apricot and smoked hickory.
Honeyed Apricot & Smoked Hickory bitters add depth and complexity to your cocktails. Try it with gin or light rum.
Pink Grapefruit & Agave - Using fresh grapefruit peel and natural agave nectar from Tromba tequila, this bitters has a wonderful astringency and natural bitterness from the citrus oils.
Use it to add a vibrancy to a Tommy's Margarita, or give some citrus characters to your summery drinks and aperitifs.
Cocao & Macadamia - the richness of Cacao Nibs and blended it with the dryness of native Macadamia nuts. Added to a spice blend including coffee, sultanas and allspice, the result is a uniquely Australian, chocolate-forward bitters.
All spirits love chocolate. Try it with a light gin cocktail, or mix it down with dark spirits.
Negroni - a blend of Australian oranges and lemons, mixed with the floral notes of chamomile and the richness of star anise. These bitters are designed to add an extra layer of complexity and aromatics to the inimitable Negroni, or to be used as an orange bitters in classic cocktails.
